I am a mathematician with a passion for acrobatics and circus. And languages. And people. And many other things…
Since October 2014 I am a Lecturer in Financial Mathematics at the University of Leeds.
I was born and raised in Italy, in a village at the foot of the Alps called Cumiana.
I obtained a BSc in Mathematics in 2006 from the University of Torino and an MSc in Mathematics in 2008.
Afterwards, I was a Marie Curie Fellow for 3 years and I had my PhD defense in July 2012 in Jena. I did my PhD in Mathematics (Stochastic Partial Differential Equations) in a joint European project between the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany, and the University of Manchester, UK.
I was a Lecturer at King’s College London in the Financial Mathematics group from October 2012 until September 2014.
Since October 2014 I am a Lecturer at the University of Leeds in the School of Mathematics.
